Following the introduction of contactless payments last year, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new mobile app – clickit2ride. The new app will make your journey even easier with a re-invented design and a more convenient way to manage tickets.
We've taken into account a lot of feedback from our customers and colleagues, in developing and improving the new app. We've made the menus more intuitive, improved the 'gifting' process so you can send tickets to your friends after they've been purchased, and much more!
As before, tickets can be bought in advance or on the day – even whilst waiting for the bus. The ticket types available are a selection of adult period passes and dayriders - more details on the tickets available can be found below.
The old app will soon be switched off so please ensure you download the new app and start using it as soon as possible. If you have any existing tickets on the old app, you can continue to use these until 12th June. If your tickets expire after 12th June, our customer services team can migrate these over to the new app for you too. Just call 01202 678100.
The new mobile app is now available to download from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store for Apple and Android devices. All you have to do is download the app, create an account, and buy the ticket that most suits you. Then, once you’re ready to use the ticket, just activate it and scan the barcode on your phone underneath our ticket machine’s barcode scanner.
