A35 Upton Bypass delays expected from Sunday 14th January

Tuesday, January 02 2018

Bridge protection work will be carried out on the A35 Upton Bypass with lane closures taking place at night on Sunday 14th January for 14 weeks whilst engineers install concrete barriers to protect the A350 bridge piers in the verge.

Westbound and Eastbound 'slow' lanes will be closed off meaning there will be single-lane access in both directions whilst the work is carried out. There will also be a 30mph speed limit through the works area with a 50mph speed limit leading into the works area on the approach from the Bakers Arms and from Poole.

When these works took place last year, journey times increased by around twenty minutes meaning our 10, 40 and X8 services may be subject to delays.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
