Dad's travel free this Father's Day!

Sunday, June 11 2017

We're giving you the opportunity to treat Dad this Father's Day by letting him travel for free!

We want to see lots of Dads out enjoying themselves this Father's Day so we’re making it easier for you to treat them. We will be providing complimentary travel for fathers travelling on our buses on Sunday 18th June as long as they are accompanied by a child buying a dayrider ticket (p.s. we don’t mind if it’s actually Dad who pays).

“We treated mums earlier this year on Mother’s Day, so we feel it’s only right to allow youngsters to take their dads out this month,” said head of communications, Nikki Honer.

“It’ll be a great opportunity for families to spend the day together - perhaps out for a meal or at the cinema."

“We’re hoping as many people as possible take advantage of the offer, and our team is looking forward to seeing dads and their offspring out-and-about in and around Poole and Bournemouth, spending quality time together on 18 June.”

Looking for some inspiration? Here are some ideas to help get your Father's Day planning started:

  • Hop on a Purbeck Breezer 50 or 60 from Poole or Bournemouth down to Swanage and enjoy a beautiful walk along the sandy beaches.
  • Catch the 5 or 6 to Tower Park and take Dad for a meal and a trip to the cinema.

So, remember the date: Sunday 18th March, check out our dayrider ticket options and start planning your Father's Day outing.
